About Ruth B. Wiegand

Ruth B. Wiegand, official Marketing Director and unofficial jack-of-all-trades for Gold Leaf Estate Planning, LLC, grew up in Faribault, Minnesota. She attended Shattuck – St. Mary’s School alongside the man who would eventually become her husband, Zach. Ruth earned a B.A. in English Literature, summa cum laude, and a Master’s in Secondary Education from Arizona State University. She has taught both at the high school and college levels, but her career focus shifted when Zach decided to open Gold Leaf Estate Planning.

Ruth has been with the firm since its inception and, not surprisingly, has grown to appreciate a fine-tuned estate plan. Her favorite part about working at Gold Leaf Estate Planning, LLC is the clients, who become more like family throughout the estate planning or probate process.

Family time with Zach and their son Henrik top Ruth’s list of favorite things to do. She also enjoys getting outside to hike, bike, or garden, and the rainy days are spent reading or planning her next adventure. Ruth has served as the past President of the Shattuck – St. Mary’s School Alumni Association Board and is currently a member of the Shattuck – St. Mary’s School Board of Trustees.
